I'm just an ordinary girl from the Ozarks who loves food, cooking and creating dishes along with my Dutch husband, Richard. We've been married since 7/02, met online in a Yahoo! Group. No children but, 3 doggies that are like children to us. I'm an Ovarian Cancer survivor since 2000, yay Me!

Baking/Cooking Training: From behind my Mother's crisply starched apron!

Favorite Food: Anything mexican, pizza, lasagna, beans and cornbread, steak and potatoes.

Favorite Food Moment: When I cooked my first full meal for my Mom and Stepdad when I was 12.

Favorite Cooking Word: chiffonade

Favoriate Restaurant: Outback Steakhouse.

Favorite Chef: Gordon Ramsay

In My Town Try: Bootleggers Restaurant & Brewery at 101 S Madison Ave. Homebrewed beer, tasty appetizers, lunch specials for the frugal.

Interests: Cooking, gardening, testing recipes, playing with my dogs.

Languages: English and a tiny bit of Dutch, where food is concerned.

Books: Not much of a book reader anymore unless you count cook books. I much rather read magazines, Gourmet, Maxim, Martha Stewart.

Music: I love lots of music ..

TV/Movies: CSI: Las Vegas, Seinfeld reruns, Hell's Kitchen, anything cooking related.

Travel: Love to travel but, too poor to do it all that often anymore. Did lots when living in California.
