ABOUT ME

I learned to cook when I got married, because after all, that's what you do, right? I wasn't very good at first, but eventually I got better at it. Now I'm hooked. I've actually become something of a "food snob", and I secretly feel superior to all those co-workers I see in the lunch room eating take out every day as I eat my good, home-cooked food. My husband "enables" me by buying me "foodie" presents (like a Le Creuset dutch oven) for Christmas--he long ago figured out that these sorts of things usually work out well for him in the end. I like to cook (and bake) for other people; it feels good to see them enjoying something I made for them.

Hi Neighbor...I am new to this.....but worse than that...I am NOT that into cooking! But...I found this site...not sure how or why I got here. I must have been looking for a recipe which is funny considering cooking is a rarity for me. However...I do have some recipes that I plan on adding...someday! :)
