ABOUT ME
I guess this is where I tell you about me?? My husband & I are preparing to build a log home in south central Colorado. We plan to live off the grid (using solar energy) & hope to be self-sufficient! Researching & planning take up a lot of our time but we feel it will be well worth it! I'm hoping to have a woodburning cooking stove... although this will be completely different from what I'm used to! This will be an extreme lifestyle change for us! We have 7 children... all grown... 11 grandbabies - age 1 to 13 years. We are currently raising our 2 year old granddaughter while my daughter & her husband are serving in Iraq.
