ABOUT ME
I'm a nurse in an LTC (long term care) facility. I LOVE MY JOB!! I can't imagine not being a nurse. I work 12 hr shifts that many times turn into 14 or more hours. However, I don't mind even tho I'm exhausted when I finally walk in the door at nite. I love what I do. I know I get way more from my Elders than I probably give to them. I honestly love each and every one of my Elders. We have 60 that we care for on our 3 halls. I have THE MOST WONDERFUL, AWESOME MAN in my life! He's a soldier and currently deployed in Iraq. We've gotten 14mos of his 16 mos deployment completed. He'll be home in 2mos hopefully. I can't wait for him to come back home!! I MISS HIM! But I LOVE HIM MORE THAN I MISS HIM!! I'm also a single Mom of 2 great kids. My dtr is 21 and has given me a sweet granddtr who just turned a yr old. I also have a 16 yr old son who's now driving!!! YIKES!! And is a bottomless pit...constantly eating that boy!!! Keeps me in good practice I guess! :D Wanna know more about me?
