We try to cook at home, but sometimes it's just not worth it. After working all day/week, there comes a point I dread cooking, mostly because I can't think of anything to prepare and we get tired of the same old things!!! Plus, I have been on Weight Watchers since February. I did really good for the first 6 weeks, then took a detour for the past several months and can’t seem to get back on track!! My detour, as I call it, set me back 7.6 lbs ...My husband was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer in March. We were totally caught off guard, but now we live one day at a time, cherishing each one….. He has good days and not so good days, the Chemo seems to be taking a real toll on him these days. He has now had 5 Chemo treatments....after the 6th one, in 2 weeks, we’ll go back to MD Anderson in September… Right now I really don’t worry with WW, I just try to cook something that will taste good to him and hope he can enjoy a good meal every now and then….. I’m still Praying for a miracle but right now I just wish for him to feel better and not be so fatigued all the time…… Sooooo... I'm here to meet new friends, easy EASY supper recipes, recipes from others they may be in or have been through similar experiences and fellowship... ohhhh and WW recipes w/points included!!!
