Favorite Food: CHOCOLATE! Anything Italian. I love a crunchy taco! Cheese, fruits, gummy bears, Chinese and seafood I like. New England clam chowder, curly fries, turkey bacon.
Favorite Food Moment: The first time I tried squid. I hesitated then said well it can not be that horrible since people do eat it. So I did and well its nothing to brag about really. Chewy and smells real "fishy". :) I laughed myself silly while trying it. Also when I tried bubble tea for the first time. If you like the feel of tapioca then bubble tea is right up your alley.
Favorite Cooking Word: Oooh la la!
Favoriate Restaurant: I really liked what I was served at "Magnolias" in Charleston, S.C. Talk about a most delicious plate of food. It was a type of melt in your mouth ravioli with corn bacon and cheese mixed with it. I wish I remembered the name of it. Oh well.
Favorite Chef: Jamie Oliver, Racheal Ray, Julia Child, Betty Crocker
In My Town Try: The piazza here and Smash Burger is good. Any of the restaurant the restaurants here in Port Washington are good. I have not been to them all but the Italian ones are nice. Wings Plus is good too.

I just found this site and thought I'd join since I do like to bake & find cooking recipes that are different. Living on Long Island the restaurant food here is really good and the bakery places are just as nice.
Getting married soon and will be moving to MA. Are there any Massachusettes natives that can tell me what foods are the favorites over there? I know seafood is a plus. The thin crust pizza over here in NY is a favorite.I would say the best I have had. Any awesome chocolate chip cookie recipes or brownie recipes anyone would like to share with me?
Besides food I also love art, sewing, music, books, etc.
