Interests: Food,any kind. I enjoy my Family and Friends most, but I do love to read. I read a lot of Danielle Steele, James Patterson, Harlan Coben,and some more. I love watching the cooking shows,Foodnetwork and The History Channel,The Military Channel and lots more. Love Rosanne and if I can stay awake, Saturday Night Live is good. I also love UNC basketball. I am going to try and learn to knit in the fall. I love the beach and the mountains and most any kind of road trip. I am not a Chef, though I would like to be. I just cook and try new recipes and make the best of it and everything else I do in life. I am a laid back gal...and calm most of the time, oh, and I love gardening and cooking on the grill and baking things for my Grandkids that live with me and want to help me bake!
ABOUT ME
I am happily married. I have three great children and seven wonderful grandkids. I enjoy cooking and have been cooking since I was a teenager. I would really love to meet new friends and get some new ideas and learn about how others cook. I hope that I can provide you with some interesting recipes. I cook healthy at times, but mostly I cook southern food. We grow our own veggies, potatoes, herbs and some fruits. We also raise goats, chickens, and cows. We do not eat the chickens or goats, but we do get our eggs from the chickens. I am looking foward to trying lots of recipes and sharing. I love almost any kind of food. I love shrimp but am allergic to it. :confused: Don't worry, I will be posting recipes shortly :-)

It's nice to meet you! Thanks for the hug. I see you like to cook Southern food...well, that's great because I looove to eat it. I'm a California girl married to a Southern boy and we're both about to move to Boston from Texas!
Do you have any great Southern recipes I can take with me to Boston, so that I don't feel so far from Texas :D?! I loove fried chicken and barbecue! |
