Baking/Cooking Training: fending for myself from a young age! my mother definitely wasn't one of those "supervise you in the kitchen" mothers.
Favorite Food: finger foods! if I don't have to use silverware, I'm in love.
Favorite Food Moment: My cousin and I were three or four, our parents left us alone and we had a mashed potatoes and peas food fight. Wiping that stuff out of grout with baby wipes was not fun.

Favoriate Restaurant: Ristorante Umbria on 2nd Street in San Francisco. Bucca Di Peppo on Howard Streetin San Francisco. Chevys--if anyone knows what that corn mush is and can tell me I would love you forever.
Favorite Chef: Alton Brown, technically not a chef (I don't think) but I love his scientific approach to cooking.
In My Town Try: Uhm, nothing. It's the wasteland of cooking. No, seriously. Don't eat here.
