Susan Proffitt (Wattles) started a co-operative in the Hollywood Hills to preserve and share all the produce we grow, and often simply throw out. Members pool their produce, herbs, sugar and canning jars, get together to preserve it using Susan's original recipes using natural pectin in the whole fruit, and then share the products.
