ABOUT ME
My love for food and cooking came at an early age. My Father passed his passion for food an entertaining on to me. My Mom is a wonderful cook in her own wright. They both had different styles of cooking, my style is a blend both. Mom was amazing at setting a mood and/or theme for my Father's dinners. One of my earliest memories is making Popovers with my Father on Saturdays. It was the first recipe he taught me to make. The first time I made it by myself I was 3 years old. My Father owned 2 restaurants, a small catering company,and self-published several cooking pamphlets under the name of "The Spirited Chef". I enjoy trying foods when traveling and recreating them at home, with my own special twist. Currently, I am writing a family history cookbook. It combines my Father's, Mother's, Grandmother's, Great Grandmother's, and my own recipes. I decided to write this after my Father passed away from Alzheimers. It was away of passing on a legacy of cooking to my children, nieces and nephews.
