In My Town Try: Oh boy, my "town" is Los Angeles. There are entire book on good eats
Interests: I come from a family of passionate and gifted cooks, although my dad was the first to make the career leap (at the age of 48!) by enrolling in culinary school. I am lucky to be able to learn high-end techniques and secrets from a pro, but I prefer to keep it on the more practical and healthy side (after all, I am still a young career gal with a full-time job in advertising) when it comes to my everyday meals. For holidays or entertaining, I go all out. I'm also fortunate to live in Los Angeles, where we have a perpetual abundance of fresh, affordable, and unique produce at our fingertips (after 4 years of life on the east coast, I came to appreciate this!).
All in all, I have a huge passion for food and I love cooking for those around me. One day in the future, I hope to finally pay attention to that and make a living out of it... 'til then, practice makes perfect!
