BakeSpace.com and CookbookCafe.com take home two more webby awards!

April 9, 20140 Comments

I’m proud to announce that BakeSpace.com and Cookbook Café (our cookbook app publishing platform that allows anyone to publish an interactive cookbook as both a web-based ebook and iPad app and then sell it in our marketplace) have once again earned Webby Award honors.

Our food social network and recipe swap was honored in the “Food & Drink Website” category, while our cookbook app publisher, marketplace and reader was honored for “Mobile & Apps: Social.” Fellow honorees include FoodNetwork.com, Food.com, Saveur.com and Path, Inc.

Since launching BakeSpace in 2006, we have earned a total of 15 Webby Award honors and nominations, including back-to-back nominations for “Best Social Network.”

As the founder, my goal has always been to empower home cooks.  Whether you’re trying one of our member’s recipes, publishing a cookbook, attending one of our food blogger conferences or joining us on our weekly google hangouts, our goals have always been to change the world one recipe at a time. But, I have to admit… there’s not a day that goes by where I’m not equally inspired. So, I’d like to share this latest Webby honor with you.. our members, our community and our friends who have helped make BakeSpace.com your favorite online kitchen.

If you’re new here or haven’t downloaded our iPad app yet, check it out!
