BakeSpace, Inc.: What We’re Working On
BakeSpace.com: Create your own online kitchen today!
BakeSpace.com launched in 2006 as the web’s first food-themed social network and recipe swap. The site was created by and for home cooks, and has retained its grassroots focus while growing dramatically over the years. Today, more than a million registered members use the site to share ideas, publish recipes and celebrate the culinary lifestyle. At its core, BakeSpace connects home cooks in real-time by enabling them to create their own online kitchen, upload & swap recipes, find/serve as food mentors, and explore the latest culinary trends.
BakeSpace.com’s CookbookCafe: Create, Publish & Sell Your Own Digital Cookbook… for free!
One of the site’s newest and most dynamic features is the first-of-its-kind publishing platform called Cookbook Café, which enables everyone (home cooks, groups, nonprofits, brands, etc.) to create, market and even sell their own cookbook as both an iPad app and a web-based ebook. It’s free to create and market cookbooks, and authors can choose to give their cookbook away or sell it by setting their own price.
BakeSpace.com’s TECHmunch Food Blogger Conference:
A series of conferences in cities across the U.S. designed to help food bloggers gain the hands-on digital media, marketing and business skills they need to make their blogs more personally and financially rewarding. Topics include the latest tools and tactics to develop and optimize content, build buzz, grow an audience and profit financially from all the hard work. The focus is on practical, hands-on information that you can use from day-one to take your blog to the next level.
