There’s not much in the fridge today and with it being 9/11 I just don’t feel like cooking. But, I have to eat something… isn’t that always the case?
So, this recipe was born out of necessity, but it is by far one of the best protein shakes I’ve ever made.
- 1 Banana
- 1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
- 8 oz (maybe more) milk or some milk like product – soy milk, rice milk… whatever.
- Ground Cinnamon to taste (I’m not a big cinnamon fan, but love it in this recipe so I add about 2 tablespoons)
Add all the ingredients to your blender and mix -
The flavor is very subtle and a nice smooth blend. I didn’t add ice to it so it’s more creamy than icy. I will also taste great with a handful of ice cubes to keep the milk cold.
