Tinker Bell App: Be part of fairy tale history and help build the ‘Disney Tinker Bell App Cookbook’
If you’re like us, you probably grew up watching Tinker Bell. Her spunky style and pixie dust shenanigans have delighted movie goers for generations. While “Tink” first hit the big screen in the 1953 Disney animated film Peter Pan, she’s been around since 1904…. so your great grandparents were probably fans as well! Over the years she has inspired millions of children of all ages with her ‘tinkering.”
For the release of the latest Tinker Bell adventure-“Secret of the Wings” (available on Blu-ray Combo Pack)-we’ve created two cookbook apps…and you’re invited to be part of the fun!
The first cookbook will feature some of the Disney Fairies special recipes. Download the free cookbook via the Cookbook Cafe app in iTunes for iPad. Don’t worry, Cookbook Cafe is also free! Once inside the app, search “Disney” and get cookin’. Don’t have an iPad? Download the cookbook on the Web at BakeSpace.com.
Check out the app on the iPad:
The second cookbook will be a group effort with recipes from Tinker Bell fans like you and me! Love this? Share with your twitter friends!
That’s right – grab your favorite recipe and share it with Tinker Bell fans around the world. Since “Secret of the Wings” is a celebration of sisterhood, we’d love each recipe to include a short description about what sisterhood means to you. Perhaps a funny story about your sister, or a few words about how you’ve shared the recipe with the “sisters” in your life. The story doesn’t need to be long — just a paragraph or two. But what if you don’t have a sister? “Sisterhood” can come in many forms… a friend who’s like a sister, a coworker who’s always there for you, or maybe your daughter or mother who loves you like a sister. It’s all about the spirit of sisterhood! So come and play along.
How to submit your recipe & join the fun:
- Grab your favorite recipe.
- Find a fun photo of you and your sister (doesn’t matter how old the photo is).
- When you’re ready to submit your recipe, head over to the “Add a Recipe” page on BakeSpace.com (the Web’s tastiest food community) and fill out the simple one-page recipe form. You don’t need to join BakeSpace to add your recipe, but if you decide you’d like to create your own online kitchen, membership is free! Who knows… you might want to create your own cookbook too!
- And that’s it!
If you’re feeling adventurous, you can also submit a video with your recipe. Simply copy and paste your video’s embedded code (e.g., from YouTube) with your recipe submission form.
We hope you join us as we work together to create the first crowdsourced Tinker Bell Cookbook app! Be part of TinkerBell history!
