Food Befitting a Food Blogger Conference
In March, BakeSpace hosted a food blogger conference called TECHmunch to coincide with our trip to Austin for SXSW, a tech conference. After the event I posted a quick recap of the event, but I didn’t get a chance to share with you the food, drinks and gift bag goodies we tried and took home. The food was delicious thanks to our friends at Parkside Restaurant. Here’s a taste of what you missed. You can see more photos of TECHmunch here – Flickr Feed
Thanks to Chef Shawn Cirkiel of Parkside Restaurant in Austin for the delicious hors…
We had cupcakes brought in from our favorite Austin cupcake shop – Sugar Mama’s Bake Shop – Thanks Olivia!
More Chef Shawn Cirkiel’s amazing food…
What’s a party without a few signature drinks?

The day was followed by a networking mixer with more than 50 giveaway prizes including KitchenAid appliances, cookbooks and yummy treats.
Each attendee received a nifty gift bag. Thank you to all our gift bag sponsors: RegionalBest.com, Stretch Island Fruit Co., Catalyst Tea, GarLic it!, Carolina Pad, PureVia, The Spice Hunter, Duke’s Mayo, Pop Chips, Bacon Bourbon Caramel Corn, FoodShouldTasteGood chips, Klip Timer, Pompeian Olive Oil, the Honest Kitchen Dog Food (yes, and let me tell you the pouches came in handy for a few attendees after they ran low on food for their pooches), Life Spring Coaching and Random House/Clarkson Potter’s Grow Great Grub.
Special thanks to our sponsors – Microsoft Tag and KitchenAid for your incredible generosity – our gift bags were awesome!
We’re heading to NYC for the next TECHmunch (June 10th 9am-5pm) at the Roger Smith Hotel – if you’d like to join us, check out our invite – http://techmunchnyc.eventbrite.com
