CROCKPOT CHICKEN ADOBO
Crockpot Chicken Adobo
Makes 12 servings Ingredients: ½ cup cider vinegar ½ cup soy sauce 1 tsp ground ginger 3 large cloves garlic 2 bay leaves 8 whole peppercorns 3 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs Directions: Cut up the chicken into large bite sized chunks. Place chicken in bottom of a slow cooker. Mix up all other ingredients and pour over the chicken. Cook on low for 8 hours. Serve with rice. Variation: This also works wonderfully with a pork roast instead of chicken. Background: This is a traditional Filipino recipe modified for the crockpot.
