Silver Snowflake Cupcakes

I have always loved the Silver White Cake Recipe from the old Betty Crocker Cookbook, and my new silicone cupcake liners needed a road test, so I whipped up these quick cakes for a post-holiday party. The snowflakes were the crowd pleaser, since the cakes stuck! They need a good dowsing with cooking spray before pouring in batter, unlike the "light" greasing the package called for.
