Why I Love This Recipe

I admit it. I am an Oprah addict. I was so glad when Dr. Oz came on with the list of foods he recommends everyone add to their diet. My husband eat this oatmeal at least 4 days a week. Dr. Oz would be so proud!


Ingredients You'll Need

1 cup whole grain oats
2 cups water
pinch salt
1/4 cup vanilla soy milk
1 Tb;s. Splenda
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 rounded Tbls. ground flax seed
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup dried cranberries or blueberries


Directions

Bring water and salt to a boil


Reduce heat and add oats, cooking for 5-7 minutes and stirring occasionally


Fold in remaining ingredients and serve hot
