BackstoryThe best fudgey yummy brownies I've ever made!!! This recipe is from the zine Zen and the Art of Brownie Baking! by Josh Russell. - 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 2 (1 oz) squares unsweetened chocolate
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup AP flour
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Melt the margarine and chocolate in a sauce pan over low heat, stirring until it's smooth. Set aside to cool slightly. When the chocolate mixture has cooled, stir in sugar. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mix until just blended. Blend in flour and salt. Spread batter evenly in an 8"x8" pan and bake 20 minutes. Check five minutes early just in case ;D
