INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 cups boiling water
- 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. butter
- 1/2 cup milk
DIRECTIONS
Mix dry ingredients, cut in butter. Add vanilla and milk. Mix well. Drop by large spoon into boiling sauce. Cover and boil slowly for 20 minutes. Don't peek. Serve in dessert dishes with Cool Whip, whipped cream or ice cream.
