Ingredients

  • 1 T natural almond butter
  • 1/2 organic apple or pear, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp. honey
  • 1 slice bread

Directions

  • Toast bread
  • Smear almond butter on bread
  • Add apple/pear slices
  • drizzle honey on top

Notes

I read this idea in Bob Greene's latest book, and it's become a staple of my mornings as I eat healthier to lose weight. (I'm down 12 pounds since in two months!)
