APPLE AND CREAM CHEESE CRESCENTS
1 (8 oz.) pkg. refrigerated
crescent roll dough
1 (8 oz.) container soft cream
1 medium apple
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. orange juice
Unroll; separate crescent dough into triangles. Spread
with cream cheese. Peel, core and cut apple into 8 pieces.
Place 1 apple piece on wide end. Combine sugar and cinnamon;
sprinkle 1 teaspoon over apple. Starting at wide end, roll
dough and apple. Place point down in 9-inch square baking
dish. Sprinkle with remaining sugar. Pour orange juice around
(not over) rolls. Bake in 375 degrees oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
Serve immediately with pan sauce.
