6 egg whites
2 1/2 cups sugar
2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup almonds
1/2 cup hazelnuts
dash of vanilla
Beat eggs until fluffy.
Add sugar then flour.
Mix in nuts.
Put in a greased long or 2 small loaf pans.
Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 300 degrees until lightly browned.
Wrap in foil.
Put in a cool place for 2 days.
Slice very thin.
Put on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Put in an oven at 275 degrees (approximately 14 minutes) until lightly browned, turning once while baking.
Pairs Well With
This is called a bread but actually it is a form of biscotti. And it is oh so good.
