All Season Grilled Chicken:
1 1/2 c. chili sauce
3/4 c. red wine vinegar
1 1/2 T. prepared horseradish
2 sm. cloves garlic, halved
1 t. salt
4 bone in chicken breasts (6 oz each)(remove skin)
Mix chili sauce, vinegar, horseradish, garlic and salt in bowl. Reserve
1/2 of marinade. Add chicken to bowl. Turn to coat. Cover. Marinate in
frig for 5 min.
Preheat grill or broiler. Remove chicken from marinade.
Discard marinade in bowl. Place chicken on grill or on broiler pan.
Grill or broil chicken, turning and basting frequently w/ half the
reserved marinade til juices run clear when meat is pierced w/ knife,
about 30 min.
Heat remaining reserved marinade in a sm. saucepan, stirring
occasionally. Serve hot alongside chicken.
Pairs Well With
TIPS: Cut marinated chicken in nuggets for quick cooking kebabs. Then
add chunks of onion, bell peppers, mushrooms or any other veggie to the
skewers. Grill as recipe directs but reduce cooking time to 15 min.
TIP: Precooking chicken in microwave will save time. Cover chicken w/

Variation: for a less spicy sauce, use ketchup instead
of chili sauce and omit horseradish.
MAKE AHEAD TIP: Prepare large batches of marinade ahead of time, then
freeze in recipe size amts. to have on hand when you're ready to fire up
TIP: For a budget friendly change of pace,sub chicken thighs and legs
for the chicken breast. Follow as recipe directs but increase the
cooking time by 10 min.
