ALMOND POPPYSEED BREAD

 

  • Cooking Time: 50-60 minutes
  • Servings: 3 large loaves
  • Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 c. oil
  • 3 1/3 c. sugar
  • 2 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 T. almond extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 T. poppy seeds
  • 2 1/4 t. baking powder
  • 4 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 1/4 t. salt

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350` Line 3 bread pans with Reynolds Parchment Paper, folding 1/2" over edge. Mix oil, sugar, milk, almond extract & eggs. Mix dry ingredients & poppy seeds & fold in. Divide into the bread pans & bake for 50-60 minutes or until tested done. Small pans may be used, medium pans usually take about 40-45 minutes, small ones 25-30 minutes, but always test before removing from oven.
