Almond crescents

INGREDIENTS

  • Cooking Time: 15-20
  • Preparation Time: 15
  • 1 lb sweet butter
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 lb almonds, blanched and grated
  • Powdered sugar
  • Grated vanilla bean

DIRECTIONS

Cream butter and sugar


Add flour and almonds


Roll into shape of a pencil


Break off about 4 inche pieces and shape into half moon


Bake at 325 for 15-20 minutes


Mix powdered sugar and vanilla bean


While still hot roll in powdered sugar mixture
