ALMOND CRESCENTS

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sweet butter
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 lb almonds, blanched and grated
  • Powdered sugar
  • Grated vanilla bean

Directions

  • Cream butter and sugar
  • Add flour and almonds
  • Roll into shape of a pencil
  • Break off about 4 inche pieces and shape into half moon
  • Bake at 325 for 15-20 minutes
  • Mix powdered sugar and vanilla bean
  • While still hot roll in powdered sugar mixture
