1 cup sugar
3/4 cup butter
4 oz (1/2 of a can) of Almond Paste
2 tbsp amaretto
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 cup milk
1/2 can fudge frosting
1/4 cup amaretto
1/2 cup sliced almonds
Grease a 15X10X1 inch pan, set aside.
In a pan, heat sugar, butter, and almond paste over medium heat until the butter melts, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
Add eggs, amaretto (2 tbsp) and vanilla. Beat until combined.
Combine flour, baking powder, and baking soda in separate bowl. Mix well.
Add flour mixture and milk alternately to the mixture in the pan, beating after each.
Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
Cool for 2 hours. Combine frosting and 1/4 cup amaretto. Frost brownies and sprinkle with almonds.
