RECIPE BACKSTORY

My mom makes the best apple fritters around. Her recipe is a thinned out crepe batter. She cores and peels a whole apple and cuts them in rings, then dips them in the batter. When removed from the oil she fry’s them in she coats them in cinnamon and sugar. They are so delicious. It is her recipe from Germany. It is not a crepe batter but one she does from scratch and a pinch of this and that. I can never duplicate it. Since I can’t I found this one. Totally different, a fluffy type but oh so very good when I can’t get mom to make them. It is a job when she has to make them. I have tried many fritters and these won hands down! Enjoy
