INGREDIENTS

  • Cooking Time: 60
  • Servings: 6
  • Preparation Time: 30 minutes
  • 1 C. All Purpose Flour
  • 2 C. Cornmeal (he likes yellow, other people like other kinds)
  • 2 TBLS Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/4 C. Vegetable Oil (extra for pan)
  • 1 C. Milk
  • Tabasco Sauce (couple shakes)

DIRECTIONS

Pre-heat over to 350 F



Mix Dry ingredients in one bowl



Mix Wet ingredients in Large bowl


Add Dry to Wet "add more milk to make it sloppy" (consistancy of pancake batter I'm told)



Heat an oiled oven proof pan on the stove (he uses a large Cast Iron Skillet) Pour in mixture


Put pan in the oven for about 40 minutes (check with knife - it comes out clean if it's done)
