ANGEL CRISPS

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar

Directions

  • Cream sugars, shortening, egg & vanilla. Add sifted dry ingredients & form into walnut sized balls. Dip top in water then sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press down in center with thumb. Bake at 425 8-10 minutes
