Why I Love This Recipe

Reto's grandmother makes these cookies from her mother-in-law's cookbook every year for Christmas and they are Reto's favorite. Dad may like them. They are special.


Ingredients You'll Need

250 g feiner Zucker (granulated sugar)
4 ganze Eier (whole eggs)
1 Löffelchen Anis (1 teaspoon Anise)
300 g Mehl (flour)


Directions

250 g feiner Zucker wird mit 4 ganzen Eiern mit dem Schwingbesen schaumig geschlagen; 1 Löffelchen Anis wird beigegeben und 300 g Mehl wird eingerührt. Man dressiert mittelst Spritzsack und glatter Tülle kleine Häufchen auf ein mit Butter bestrichenes Blech, bestreut sie mit feinem Zucker làsst sie über Nacht trocknen und backt die Brötchen mittlerer Hitze.


250g caster sugar is beaten with 4 whole eggs with a whisk until frothy; 1 teaspoon anise is added and 300 g of flour is stirred in. Spout small, smooth piles on a buttered sheet using a piping bag, sprinkle with fine sugar and let it dry overnight. Bake the buns over medium heat.
