APPLE BREAD

Ingredients

  • 1 cup margarine
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 4 Tablespoon sour milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 cups flour
  • 4 cups chopped apples
  • Topping:
  • 4 Tablespoon melted butter
  • 4 Tablespoon flour
  • 4 Tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions

  • Cream margarine and sugar, add eggs, soda, sour milk and vanilla.
  • Add dry ingredients. Fold in apples.
  • Pour into pans, sprinkle on topping.
  • Bake at 325 for 20 minutes then 300 for 1 hour.
  • Makes 2 loaves.
