- 3 Matzohs
- 6 Eggs
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 Cup Raisins
- 4 Tart Apples Shredded
- 1/2 Cup Melted Butter
- Grated Orange Zest
- Preheat oven to 350
- Crumble matzohs in water & soak until soft. Squeeze out all excess moisture. Beat eggs, add sugar, salt, cinnamon beating until well blended. Stir in crumbled matzohs, raisins, apples and zest. Pour into well greased 1 1/2 Qt casserole. Sprinkle with a cinnamon sugar mixture (1/4 teaspoon cinnamon & 1 tablesoon sugar) Pour melted butter over all. Bake until firm & brown, aprox 45 minutes.
