Apple Scotch Crisp
3 cups peeled, sliced apples or 2 cans (20 oz each) pie-sliced apples, drained
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 tbsp flour
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup water
2/3 cup flour
1/2 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 package (3.9 oz) cook and serve butterscotch pudding
1/2 cup butter or margarine
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In large bowl, combine first five ingredients; mix well.
Pour into ungreased 8" square or 11 x 7 x 2" pan. In Bowl, combine all topping ingredients; mix until crumbly.
Sprinkle over apples.
Bake 45-60 minutes or until apples are tender and golden brown.
