Apples and Cream Dessert Squares
1 pkg yellow cake mix
1/2 cup flaked coconut
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 can apple pie filling (21 ounce)
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup sour cream
1 egg, slightly beaten
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine cake mix, coconut, and butter. Blend with a spoon (or your fingers) until crumbly.
Press mixture into the bottom of an ungreased 9 X 13 inch cake pan, and 1/2 inch up the sides of the pan.
Spread the pie filling over the base.
Mix sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over the filling.
Blend the sour cream and egg. Mix well.
Spoon the sour cream mixture evenly over the filling.
Bake 25 to 35 minutes or until edges are light brown.
Serve warm or cold.
