Applesauce Spice Cake
A family favorite! It goes great with cream cheese frosting.

INGREDIENTS
- Cooking Time: 55-60

- 2 1/2 c flour
- 2 c sugar
- 1 1/2 t baking soda
- 1 1/2 t salt
- 1/4 t baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 t cinnamon
- 1/2 t cloves
- 1/2 t allspice
- 1 1/2 c applesauce
- 1/2 c water
- 1/2 c shortening
- 1/2 c chopped walnuts
- 1 c raisins
DIRECTIONS
Combine all but last two ingredients.
Beat at low speed until well moistened, then at medium speed, about 2 minutes.
Add nuts and raisins.
Pour into a greased 13 x 9 baking pan, and bake at 350 for 55-60 minutes
