2 Loaves White Sandwich Bread
2 Cans Asparagus Spears
Parmesan Cheese- (Green can/dried)
Variation: Add a small amount of prosciutto to each asparagus rollup!
Remove crusts from bread and roll flat between two sheets of wax paper. Spread each slice with butter and sprinkle with cheese.
Drain asparagus – absorb liquid on paper towel.
Put 1 spear on corner of bread & roll up.
Secure with toothpicks.
Brush each roll with melted butter and sprinkle with cheese
Bake in oven at 350 F for about 15-20 minutes
(May be made ahead & refrigerated before baking - put butter and parmesan on just prior to baking)
