Why I Love This Recipe

This recipe for this delicious fudge brings back a flood of so many memories of being with my family and all the fun Christmases we would spend together. Every Christmas like clock work my aunt and uncle would sent my family and me a box of Christmas Cookies. Fudge was one of my favorite treats they would send. I believe they got the recipe on a box called, "Foolproof Dark Chocolate Fudge".


Ingredients You'll Need

3 cups (1 ½ 12-ounce bags) HERSHEY’S semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (14-ounce) can EAGLE BRAND Sweetened Condensed Milk
Dash salt
1 cup chopped Walnuts
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract


Directions

In heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt chips with sweetened condensed milk and salt. Remove from heat, stir in walnuts and vanilla.


Spread evenly into wax paper-lined 8-or 9-inch square Pan.


Chill 2 hours or until firm.


Turn fudge onto cutting board, peel off paper and cut into squares.


Store loosely covered at room temperature.
