AUNT LOUISE’S MEAT LOAF
Aunt Louise’s Meat Loaf
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 can drained spinach
- Topping mixture:
- ½ can tomato paste
- 2 T brown sugar
- 2 T vinegar
- 2 T mustard
- 1 cup water
DIRECTIONS
Mix to form loaf – place in baking dish and cover with the sauce mixture.
Bake uncovered for 1 ½ hours at 350. Baste with topping mixture as it cooks.
