Aunt Sharron's Almond Chicken

INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups diced raw chicken
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 cup toasted almonds
- 1 cup water chestnuts, drained
- 1 package frozen pea pods
DIRECTIONS
Heat garlic and chicken until cooked. Add 2 tablespoons soy sauce, a little sugar, 1 cup water and the rest of the ingredients except for the nuts. Thicken mixture with cornstarch and water mixture then sprinkle with nuts before serving. Serve over rice.
