RECIPE BACKSTORY

As far as I am concerned, this banana bread is the standard. It is so popular at my mom's office that everyone is constantly giving her bananas so she will make the bread for them. It was the first bread I ever made by myself and the fact that it tasted like hers is to me, testament to what a great baker she was.

It is great for breakfast, toasted with some whipped cream cheese on top

I just made this bread for a bake sale & it came out great (I put it into mini loaf pans & reduced the cooking time). This was probably one of the easiest banana breads I've ever made. Thanks for the recipe!!
