Why I Love This Recipe
This is eary to prepare and cooks in the oven while you are busy with other meal prep. Tasty too. I prefer rice done in the oven. To me it seems moister.
Ingredients You'll Need
1/4 cup melted butter
2 medium onions, chopped
2 cans of mushroom pieces, including the juice
3 cans consumme (or broth)
1 tsp. oregano
2 cup uncooked rice (not Minute Rice)
Saute onions in butter.
Mix with the remaining ingredients and put in a casserole dish.
Bake covered at 350F for 1 - 1 1/2 hours until juices are absorbed.
