BANANA SPLIT CAKE
My family requests this cake most from my mil.
Very rich,but good.
INGREDIENTS
- CRUST:
- 1 3/4 CUBE MARG OR BUTTER
- 1 1/2 CUP FLOUR
- 2 T SUGAR
- 3/4 CUP CHOPPED WALNUTS
- FILLING:
- 1 LB OR 1 BOX POWDERED SUGAR
- 2 EGGS
- 2 CUBES MARG OR BUTTER (ROOM TEMP)
- 1 tsp VANILLA
- BEAT TOGETHER FOR 10-15 MINS
DIRECTIONS
MIX All CRUST INGREDIENTS TOGETHER WELL AND PRESS INTO A 9 + 13 DISH.
BAKE AT 350 FOR 20 MINS THEN LET COOL.
BEAT FILLING INGREDIENTS TOGETHER FOR 10-15 MINS
POUR FILLING OVER "COOLED" CRUST.
SLICE 4-5 CRISP TYPE BANANA'S LAYER OVER TOP
1 CAN CRUSHED PINEAPPLE OVER THAT (SHE DONT SAY TO DRAIN IT THO NOR WHAT SIZE,,PROB LRG)
DRIZZLE CHOCOLATE SYRUP OVER TOP THAT (I LIKE ALOT)
COVER WITH "COOL WHIP" (IT CANT BE HOMEMADE HAS TO BE COOL WHIP)
SPRINKLE WITH SOME CHOPPED NUTS OF DESIRED AND MAYBE SOME CHERRIES SHE HAS ALSO MADE IT WITH FRESH STRAWBERRIES.
KEEP IN FRIDGE.
