- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1/4 cup catsup
- 2 tablespoons steak sauce
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- For sauce, in a small saucepan, combine garlic, catsup, steak sauce, water, sugar, and vinegar. Bring to a boil then reduce heat. Simmer uncovered for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, combine beef, salt and pepper. Shape mixture into four patties.
- Place burgers on grill rack over medium heat. Brush sauce over burgers a few times during the last 5 minutes of grilling.
