BLT Pasta

Ingredients

1 lb Bacon
1 lb Angel Hair Or Linguine Pasta
Olive Oil
1 pint Grape Tomatoes
1 cup Parmesan,Romano,and Asiago Cheese Mix
1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
1 Garlic Clove
1 Tbsp Parsley
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Black Pepper


*If using, cook bacon until crispy, drain; set aside


*Boil 2 quarts of water in large pot, add a splash of olive oil and dash of salt to water


*Add pasta and cook until tender; drain and leave in the strainer for a minute


*Mince or crush the garlic; in a pasta pot, add 1 Tbsp oil and the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds; then add parsley, salt & pepper


*Return pasta to pot and toss to coat in garlic mixture


*Chop bacon into bite size pieces and add to pasta, if desired


*Stir in the cheese; put pasta in serving bowl; slice tomatoes in thirds and sprinkle on top; add sprinkle of cheese

*Skip the bacon for a vegetarian meal, or serve bacon on the side for any bacon eaters
