BROWNIE BALLS
BROWNIE BALLS
We have a bakery near where we live that makes the best tasting brownie balls. This is my best attempt to duplicate those.
INGREDIENTS
- Cooking Time: 8-10 minutes
- Preparation Time: 20 minutes
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- powdered sugar
- Reynold's parchment paper
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees and line baking sheet with Reynold's parchment paper.
In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and chocolate. Stir and set aside to cool for 5 minutes. Stir in sugar, egg, vanilla and salt until well blended. Stir in the flour and nuts. Shape the misture into 1 inch balls. Place about 2 inches apart on your baking sheet. Bake for about 8 minutes until set. While warm, roll in powdered sugar. Cool slightly then roll again in the powdered sugar. Store airtight
