Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts
1 (8oz) can of halved water chestnuts
1/2 lb. bacon-cut in half
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup chili sauce
Preheat oven to 350.
Wrap each water chestnut with bacon strip. Secure with toothpick.
Place the chestnuts seam side down in baking dish. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and cooked.
When ready, drain fat from dish.
In a mixing bowl, mix mayonnaise, brown sugar & hot sauce.
Mix and pour over water chestnuts.
