BAKED BARBECUE SHRIMP

Ingredients

  • 7 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp creole seasoning
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp juice from 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 tsp minced garlic
  • French bread for serving

Directions

  • -Preheat over to 450
  • -Toss all ingredients, place in 10" saute pan with all shrimp in a single layer
  • -Bake 2 minutes. Turn shrimp and cook an additional 2-3 minutes until opaque and cooked through
  • -Serve with French bread

Notes

I grew up on the Gulf Coast and my mom is from New Orleans. This dish was her specialty, drawn from an old New Orleans cookbook.
