Baked Garlic-Stuffed Antipasto Bread
1 loaf of French Bread
1 cup grated swiss cheese, 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
10 cloves of fresh garlic, 1 cup sliced black olives, 1 Tbs capers
1/2 cup butter( used olive oil) and not a 1/2 cup.
1/4 cup of olive oil
1/4 tsp dried tarragon and basil
9-oz package of frozen spinach
14-oz can of artichoke hearts
1 tsp ground pepper
1/2 cup chopped parsley( used less)
1/2 tsp garlic salt( did not use)
1 can of anchovies, cut into slices
( did not use)
Oven set at 350ºF.Peel and chop the garlic. Slice the bread lenghtwise and hollow out, reserve the bread pieces.
Melt the butter and add 1 Tbs of the olive oil.
Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds, add the spinach, artichokes and anchovies, mix well and cook.
Add the torn bread pieces and all remaining ingredients.
Mix well and spoon into the bread shell.
Wrap with foil and bake for 30 minute
